In need of a Korean producer for its latest piece of propoganda, a radio drama about Japan's Asian empire, they appoint Lloyd Park. Lloyd is a good-for-nothing womanizer who only agrees to produce the drama to impress beautiful jazz singer Mary. The team is rounded out by a bunch of losers: alcoholic Man-chil, gisaeng Myung-wol, errand boy Soon-duk, vulgar novelist Bong-al and resistance fighter K. Against all the odds, the drama becomes an overnight success among the growing number of radio owners.
