Synopsis

As a post-modern response to the growing trend of senseless gun-related violence amongst youngsters, ″Pups″ chronicles the story of a rebellious ″latch-key″ teenager who finds his mother's gun, and instead of heading to his suburban school, he embarks on a spontaneous bank robbery with his girlfriend (Barton) that holds the nation's attention tensions inside the bank heighten as a fatherly FBI agent (Reynolds) negotiates the boy's absurd demands, exemplified by an interview with MTV personality Kurt Loder. An explosive, desperate journey reminiscent of ″Dog Day Afternoon″.
