Pearl River Film Group is one of the six largest state-owned film group corporations in China. For over 60 years, it has produced more than 1000 motion pictures, won more than 260 titles including Huabiao Awards, Golden Rooster Awards etc, and established itself firmly in the Chinese filmdom.

Since 2019, Pearl River Film Group has thrived on film creation and production, produced various feature films and documentaries such as "White Snake"," Madam Xian ","Faces in the Crowd", "Only Time For Loving". In addition, the Group has invested in a number of successful commercial films, including “Chinese Doctors”, "The Wandering Earth", "The Climbers" and "My People, My Country". The total box office has already reached 40 billion RMB.

The Group led the operation of China Film South Cinema Circruit, which owned 1024 cinemas and ranked top 5 in China. Now the Group is making efforts to promote the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Film Port，to build a characteristic cultural industry complex of film, technology, finance and tourism.
