Eighteen-year-old Diego moves to the suburbs of Rome after his mother's death. He seems to get along better with the African refugees living in the building next to him than with his new classmates. His days are lonely and introverted until a young girl named Tea moves in with him. Tea is a rebel, fearful, unbreakable, revolutionary, and unconventional. In his coming-of-age journey, Diego discovers a new world where the line between good and evil, right and wrong, immigrant and indigenous, can be thin.
