A legend tells that there are seven lucky charms that encouraged the success of Hideyoshi, the 16th century ruler of Japan in Osaka. A dowdy antique dealer Norio is asked to produce a fair featuring Hideyoshi and find the last missing piece of the charms, the tea bowl named Houou, Chinese Phoenix. But it is also pursued by another dubious art foundation that is making a fortune with an artist TAIKOH and his spiritual art. Being asked to make up Houou, a down-and-out potter Sasuke scrapes few clues from what’s been left and struggles to create the piece from scratch. Norio, Sasuke and their close-knit team of skilled forgery team up again to bring the dream treasure into reality and outwit the parties.
