Paul Hertzberg founded CineTel Films Inc, an independent film production company and distributor. He started the company in Chicago in 1980 as Chicago Teleproductions and later moved to Los Angeles, California and renamed the company as Cinetel Films in 1983. Under Hertzberg's auspices and direct involvement since its founding, CineTel became one of the leading independent production and distribution companies in the entertainment industry. He said, "From the company's inception, we placed a major emphasis on the creation of quality product at reasonable cost. This has remained central to our company's philosophy and has been directly responsible for our success. In 2023, the Cinetel Films library was sold to Vision Films. Cinetel Films, Inc. is still under Paul Hertzberg.
Paul is now the owner/manager of BD Films, an new Sales Agency company founded in 2020, specializing on action, disaster, sci-fi, horror, thriller, and family films.
