Sinopsis

The Fuente de Piedra lagoon in Spain is home to one of the largest flocks of flamingos in Europe. Once a year, the adolescent flamingos perform a dance in the shallows that looks like…flamenco!

But when the flock is attacked by a pack of hateful podencos (wild Spanish hunting dogs) our hero Rosie, a fun, unedited, dance crazy flamingo, loses her beloved older sister and the flamingo flamenco is cancelled henceforth. Rosie grows up a shadow of her former self, robbed of the love of her sister and the joy of dance.

Then one day she meets a carefree, exuberant lizard by the name of Carlos, who encourages her to dance once more and rekindle her inner flame. In the course of the story she transforms back into her old confident self, before leading the flock to face down the podencos and dance once more.
