“Iqbal: Tale of a Fearless Child” is an animated feature film loosely based on the worldwide bestseller “Iqbal” by Francesco D’Adamo, first published in Italy by EL Einaudi, then all around the world, the whole Europe, Nord and Latin America, Korea, China, Japan.... The film combines drama, comedy and adventure to tell the universal story of a group of fearless children oppressed by the corrupt world of adults. Friendship, play and imagination disclose the real meaning and the strength of the word FREEDOM.

Iqbal Masih, to whom the international day against child slavery, June 12, was dedicated, managed to organize the rebellion with his little carpet companions and to have the cruel slaver imprisoned. He thus became a sort of trade unionist who, at the age of 12!, gave important speeches in the most prestigious international institutions. Returning from the United States, he was slewed by a hired killer for having endangered the power of the slaveholders
