Zaida is a solitary little girl, who lives with her step-father in a working-class neighborhood. Her neighbor is the peculiar Jonás, an elderly, introverted man, who spends his days hiding away in an imaginary world in which he believes he is a NASA astronaut and that his apartment is a spaceship called The Orion which has landed on the strange and far-away planet Kepler.
A chance meeting between the two will lead to an unlikely, yet special relationship, in which both will embark on a journey of self-discovery, help each other out and save one another from the harshness of life by setting off on a surreal, emotional and mutually beneficial rescue mission.
