A Rarámuri peasant finds the remains of a “Dorado de Villa” inside a cave in the Sierra Tarahumara. Among the corpse's belongings, he discovers a rifle, in which, inside, was a hidden letter written and signed by Pancho Villa. He takes the dead man’s objects to the Villa museum to sell them. Seizing the opportunity, a curator and anthropologist of the museum purchase the items, not knowing the misery and trouble the letter is about to curse them with.
