A team of scientists is sent to South America to investigate one of the world's worst ecological disasters. Before they reach the site, they are kidnapped by the CEO of the corporation directly responsible for the catastrophe. Led by his own agenda, he abandons the head scientist in the middle of the sprawling salt flats where she slowly discovers a deeper truth behind his motives.
