Divia

Synopsis

Divia is the ancient Slavic goddess of nature and all living things, who is opposed to war, destruction and death. Over the past years, in Ukraine, it has suffered from Russian aggression in unprecedented scale: destroyed and burned forests, endless craters of shell explosions, burned military vehicles, dangerous minefields and forgotten bodies of the Russian invaders lying silently in the ground. All bearing witness of past battles. Russian troops as an alien organism invaded nature, but were neutralized and pushed back. Deminers, body searchers, ecologists, animal activists… are doing everything to measure the scale of the tragedy, clean the land and restore lost natural resources. Nature tries to heal from its injuries by absorbing and transforming the remains of the war.
