Synopsis

Jen and her high school aged daughter Zoe are both at a life crossroads. Jen is a Top 40 radio host and family breadwinner and is growing more and more at odds with her sexist co-hosts (Mad Dog and The Tard) and finds herself bored and discontent with her husband Mike, who has become a little too comfortable being unemployed, resulting in Jen starting a sexting relationship with an old flame. Zoe on the other hand is thriving, a top student with early acceptance to NYU, whose only problem seems to be not knowing how to dump her thick headed boyfriend. When the mother and daughter realize they are both accidentally pregnant, they make an abortion pact and promise to keep it secret from their respective impregnators. With the help of her quirky younger sister Aggie and grisled, drunk work colleague Suzanne, Jen navigates her unwanted pregnancy, emotional affair and her relationship with her daughter in the hopes of she and Zoe making the best decision for their futures.

Double Lines is an irreverent but smart, contemporary comedy about one of the easiest topics to talk about…you guessed it, ABORTION! Double Lines cleverly combines the midlife crisis of TRAINWRECK & THIS IS 40, the multi-generational sexual comedy of BLOCKERS and comedic powerhouse ensemble of BRIDESMAIDS.
