Synopsis

Ida and her class are preparing for the annual Forest Day to protect the local forest. Even Helene, whose family is facing bankruptcy, will be taking part, hoping to gain followers for her influencer channel and thus increase her income, while her magical animal, tomcat Karajan, demands a luxurious lifestyle. Silas, Jo's best friend, also gets a new magical companion: vegan crocodile Rick, who looks scary but secretly fears he can't compete with the tough-looking Silas. Silas himself has his eye on Helene and thinks he only has a chance with her if he wears a designer shirt. When Helene learns that her icon's fashion show is to be held at the Natural History Museum, she persuades the museum director to allow the class to perform there as a show act. But the fashion show is scheduled for the same day as Ida's Forest Day... the magical community is once again faced with turbulent events and big decisions.

An exceptional family entertainment with a universal theme of friendship and team spirit, SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS 3 is visually stunning, wildly entertaining, and hilarious. Based on one of the world's most successful children's book series, "The School of Magical Animals", which has sold more than 10 million copies in German-speaking countries alone. Written by Margit Auer and illustrated by Nina Dullek, the bestselling books have been translated into more than 26 languages and are available in many territories. The first two films of this charming live-action adventure about an unusual school, where children are accompanied by magical animals, grossed over US$36.5 million in Germany and were also very successfully released internationally, including in the US, where Blue Fox released the dubbed version of Part 1 on 300 screens. In Germany, Leonine will release the film in cinemas September 26, 2024.
