Synopsis: Mr. Amadi a very avaricious man forces his underage daughter into early marriage to a rich man (Chief); against the resistance of his wife and the protest of Esther his daughter who prefers to pursue her education. Esther contracts VVF because of the early marriage and Chief brings her home alleging she has been afflicted by the gods because of infidelity. Esters life and dream are shattered.
