Radu, a Romanian-born Canadian, finds himself heartbroken and disoriented. He despises the growing prospect of landing a boring office job, so he takes a radical decision: he sets off to cycle the Pan-American Highway, from the northernmost point in Alaska to the southern tip of South America, in a perilous journey that few dare to undertake. Those who do, usually end up with 22.000 kilometers traveled in up to 9 months. Radu's journey ended up taking 3 years and 3 months and 34.554 kilometers. Alone, on his bicycle.
