Sinossi

In REFUGE a quartet of estranged high school friends embark on a fishing trip, hoping to revive their lost bond. Their journey takes a chilling turn when one of them suddenly turns out to have a hidden agenda: he is convinced that one of his friends is responsible for his daughter’s disappearance four years ago. Driven by an unrelenting need for answers and armed with a diary hinting at a relationship between one of the men and his daughter, he refuses to leave until he uncovers the truth.

REFUGE is an eerie suspense thriller that dives deep into the darkest parts of the human psyche. The film explores themes as loyalty, guilt, and the extremes people will go to protect themselves and stars an up and coming cast lead by Donald Paul (FBI – Most Wanted, 2023). The film is directed by Anton Sigurðsson (Cruelty, 2016) hailing from Iceland, who has left a noticeable mark on the Scandinavian film industry through his unique talent within genre films.
