Sinossi

The First Queen of England is a gripping historical thriller, recounting the true events of an explosive battle for the crown, between Lady Jane Grey and Mary Tudor.

King Edward VI’s death reveals his choice to uphold the Protestant faith of his late father, Henry VIII. Bypassing his Catholic half-sister Mary, Edward names his devout Protestant cousin, Jane, as his successor. At just 16, and without any preparation for royal life, Jane is thrust into the role of England’s first Queen—terrified and unready.

Meanwhile, Mary Tudor, enraged by her disinheritance and the religious betrayal, amasses her loyal forces, vowing to take back her rightful crown and reinforce the Catholic faith. As Mary gathers strength, Jane finds herself isolated in the halls of power, trapped in a political and religious storm she never sought.

The story crescendos into a high-stakes game of survival, culminating in a heart-wrenching conclusion that changes England’s future forever.
