Zena Film, a film production company based in Sardinia, was founded in 2013 by Massimo Casula. It specializes in animations, documentaries and feature films. Zena Film has won international awards for its
productions, including pilots for TV series, animations and feature films. "Nausicaa, The Other Odyssey," created by Italian screenwriter and cartoonist Bepi Vigna, premiered at the Critics' Week of the 74th Venice Film Festival in 2017. In 2022, Zena Film produced the docufilm "The miracle of sinners" in collaboration with Dublin-based Hypatia Pictures, Cinecittà Istituto Luce, and Maja Prelog's first feature-length documentary "Cent’anni", co-produced with Slovenian director and producer Rok Bicek, which won the Docs-in-Progress Award at the Cannes Film Market 2021 (IEFTA). The company was founded with the ambition of providing high-quality audiovisual content and engaging in international co-productions. Committed to cultivating new talent, its editorial policy emphasizes storytelling that explores contemporary life. It is currently developing the TV series "Line Up" and Enrico Lo Verso's first feature film, "Pietre", and Jordi Penner's first feature film "To Hell with it"
