Andrei Dăscălescu
Constantin and Elena, about the every-day life of my grandparents. A heart-warming documentary that was praised everywhere it screened. This one traveled most around the world to festivals and got many awards. It was screened in MoMA New York, in San Francisco Film Festival, in Buenos Aires and many others. Fun-fact: I uploaded it on YouTube 10 years ago, and it has 830.000 views, totally organic (which is huge for a Romanian documentary). Even more interesting, it gets new comments once every few days, from different parts of the world. I would say this film might prove to be a sort of little gem of the genre.
