In this action/crime pilot, Officer Thorne kisses her wife goodbye before a big raid on local cartel. After torturing a perp for info, Det. Vega takes truck full of drugs from the scene. Thorne, Vega’s protégé, pursues him, abandoning protocol and investigating alone. Following the tortured perp’s intel, Vega finds Conway, a fellow officer, working with the cartel. Vega kills Conway in cold blood before the gang, hands off the drugs, and offers take Conway’s place as the gang’s new NOPD plant. Thorne tries to arrest Vega before ultimately joining him in a vigilante takedown of the local cartel gang.
