After a storm hits the town of Punta Indio, the corpse of Marga Maier appears on the river shore, with a cut on her neck. The murder is resolved when the scared murderer confesses the crime, but he doesn’t reveal were the diamond used as weapon is. This leaves the other characters on pins and needles, and makes evident what each one of them is willing to do to get it.
Elements of the thriller and the western combined to relay an intricate, timeless, darkly seductive detective story set in a strange and lonely place.
