VMI has moved aggressively into production, securing a six-picture slate venture with Canadian based Minds Eye Entertainment and a multi picture production output deal with Cinedigm (Nasdaq CIDM). This has resulted in the production of THE HUMANITY BUREAU starring Nicolas Cage, THE RECALL starring Wesley Snipes & RJ Mitte and WAR PIGS Starring Mickey Rourke and Dolph Lundgren. VMI’s in house productions include THE PERFECT WEAPON starring Steven Seagal, Wicked Blood starring Sean Bean & Abigail Breslin, BLOOD OF REDEMPTION starring Dolph Lundgren, Vinnie Jones and Billy Zane.
VMI’s dedicated music division, Vision Music is proud to have represented and released such fine documentaries as the most dangerous group in the world and creators of "gangsta rap" NWA & Eazy-E: Kings of Compton, Soaked in Bleach, the detective story about who was really behind the murder of the iconic Rock Legend Kurt Cobain, Lemmy, about the life and career of the lead singer of Motorhead; Upside Down: The Creation Records Story, about the hugely successful independent label behind the band Oasis and Lil Wayne: The Carter, an unbiased look at one of music’s biggest and most controversial superstars, and many more.
VMI attends and exhibits at all the major film and television markets including NATPE, Berlinale, Hong Kong Filmart, MIPTV, the Marche du Film at the Cannes Film Festival, LA Screenings, DISCOP, MIPCOM, AFM and ATF in addition to regular sales trips throughout the world. VMI’s films have played and competed at the most prestigious film festivals around the world including Sundance, SXSW, Cannes, Berlin, Tribeca, Toronto International Film Festival, etc.
