102 Distribution

102 Distribution is an Italian film production and distribution company, based in Rome, whose mission is to acquire and produce Italian and international movies, exploiting the rights in all distribution channels: cinemas, home video, television and new media, taking care of all the marketing aspects of the release and placement in the territories.

Starting its business buying new movies and library titles exclusively for the Italian territory, in the last years, 102 Distribution has broaden its horizons, acquiring multi-territories rights for some titles, taking care sometimes of the international sales as well as the release in different countries, including United States, Canada, United Kingdom, China and others.

Given the experience of the team, 102 Distribution was one of the first Italian company to support the re-release of the classic movies in the cinemas, like “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction” by Quentin Tarantino, or nature documentaries such as “Oceans” dubbed by Neri Marcorè, or economics documentaries, as “Freakonomics” dubbed by Enrico Bertolino and Giovanni Floris. In this way 102 Distribution has become very active in the cinema events’ section.

102 Distribution is involved also in the production, making the acquisitions and development of original new projects and buying remake rights of completed movies and rights for the books’ adaptations.
